The Soft Distortion of your Turtle Heart

"The Soft Distortion of your Turtle Heart" is a duet created and danced by Lina Verveckken and Sander Los (Premièred 30/03/2022 in Arnhem). This duet was created upon research about human behavior. Specifically the need for humans to understand the world around us by categorizing it. Based on the process of organizing information into manageable groups, which helps us to make sense of new experiences and learn about the world. How do you as a person understand what you see, and does this always need to be understood? By creating a condensed and hypnotic world on stage, we invite the audience to be confused and to accept or not accept the tension that the piece brings with it.
